Jacques Veyrat, former CEO of Louis Dreyfus Co., is set to receive €2.6 billion ($2.8 billion) from the sale of Neoen SA, a renewable energy business he acquired after leaving the firm. The deal involves Canadian asset manager Brookfield acquiring Veyrat's 42% stake in the company for about €6.1 billion. Veyrat, known for his diverse investments post-Dreyfus, plans to reinvest the Neoen proceeds into other energy transition projects and owns businesses in various sectors like technology, finance, and cosmetics through his investment company, Impala.
