Ex-Pimco Executive Launches First Catastrophe-Bond ETF

Gautam Naik reports that an innovative exchange-traded fund (ETF) focused on catastrophe bonds is set to debut on the New York Stock Exchange, marking a milestone for individual investors. Managed by King Ridge Capital Advisors and overseen by Brookmont Capital Management, this ETF will include up to 75 of the 250 available cat bonds. Catastrophe bonds, known for their high returns amid increasing extreme weather risks, are attracting interest as climate change intensifies, with the market projected to grow from $50 billion to $80 billion by 2030.
