Processions are an essential element in Taiwan's folk beliefs, reflecting artistry and serving purposes like disaster relief and home protection. During the Dragon Boat Festival in Danshui, the vibrant procession known as Danshui Grand Ceremony celebrates the birth of Qing Shui Zu Shi Ye, attracting tourists to witness three must-see processions. These include the unique performance of Ping An Lion, the lively Qing Shui Dragon procession, and the adorable Xinxing Lion with its playful and realistic movements. Taking place on June 10th and 11th this year, traffic control measures will be in place, encouraging early departure to not miss this annual event.
