According to SET News, a foot massage parlor in Taipei's East District had a Japanese client who complained about the masseur applying too much pressure during the massage. Due to a language barrier, the client ended up with tendonitis in his lower leg and later sued the masseur for negligence. Although the client withdrew the lawsuit, the masseur faced prosecution temporarily. The incident highlights the importance of clear communication in massage sessions, especially with foreign clients.
