Sodagreen's keyboardist AKon was supposed to perform with Japanese band 'BiSH' at the Golden Melody Awards last Saturday, but withdrew due to personal health issues, sparking controversy. A staff member at the event later revealed on Instagram that AKon had skipped rehearsals two weeks prior and presented a diagnosis from a cosmetic clinic. Sodagreen's management responded, explaining AKon had a diagnosis from a health clinic and communicated regrets to BiSH through Sony Music. AKon's absence caused speculation, while Taiwan Television (TTV) confirmed receiving the medical certificate. The source of the allegations criticized AKon's behavior, pointing to unresolved personal issues resulting in his absence.
