During a 3-day holiday weekend, several cold drink shops in Kaohsiung's Cijin district were broken into by thieves. The burglars targeted multiple shops in a row, including a nougat vendor and a dumpling shop, stealing cash, vacuum cleaners, and electrical wires. It is believed that the thieves took advantage of the holiday when there were more tourists and business was bustling. The police have identified the burglars and are actively pursuing them. The burglars, captured on surveillance cameras, were seen sneaking around after the shops closed, with one acting as a lookout and the other carrying out the thefts. Fortunately, no valuable items were taken from the targeted shops.
