Many Taiwanese tourists visiting South Korea for leisure also opt for skin treatments or minor cosmetic procedures. However, some tourists who went for a cosmetic procedure involving 'water shine injection' had their faces numbed and prepared for surgery, only to be asked to return the next day after waiting for 20 minutes due to overwhelming clientele at the clinic. Dissatisfied, the tourists expressed their disappointment at the abrupt rescheduling and the inconvenience caused by having to wash off the anesthesia. The clinic staff offered a skincare service as a gesture of apology, but the tourists were wary of returning in the future.
