Premier Su Tseng-chang of the Executive Yuan expressed optimism about human nature when asked about the confidence in the overturning cases by Green Party legislators. Premier Su Tseng-chang attended the Legislative Yuan to report on the amendment of parliamentary rights and answered questions. Regarding the outcome of the overturning cases, Su mentioned his optimism in human nature since legislators are elected by the people and carry the DNA of democracy. The Executive Yuan finds the amendment difficult to implement and has proposed to overturn it, with a vote scheduled for June 21st after committee reviews on the 19th and 20th. Su outlined six reasons for the overturning appeal, emphasizing the need for legislators to act in the interest of the people, take a responsible historical attitude, and work together to uphold the constitutional system and human rights.
