According to the latest news on Yahoo News, the Central Weather Bureau has issued heavy rain warnings for New Taipei City, Hsinchu County, Taichung City, and mountainous areas in Nantou County due to the strong development of afternoon convective cloud systems, leading to possible short periods of heavy rain. Additionally, Keelung, Greater Taipei, Hsinchu, Yilan, Taoyuan, Miaoli, Chiayi, Tainan, Kaohsiung, and Hualien mountainous areas have a chance of localized heavy rain. Beware of thunder and strong gusts, and exercise caution in mountainous areas for potential landslides, falling rocks, and flash floods.
