OPEC Expected to Maintain Supply Quotas at June Meeting

Reported 6 months ago

As the OPEC+ meeting approaches, TD Cowen's Sustainability and Energy Transition Director Jason Gabelman predicts that OPEC is likely to roll over supply quotas during the virtual conference and will assess member countries' production capacity on June 30th. This assessment could lead to a potential increase in production supply later in the year. Gabelman believes a rollover of supply quotas is expected now, with a potential supply increase by the end of the year meeting in late November or early December.
