Due to the influence of southwestern winds, today’s noon brought temperatures of 35-36°C in Greater Taipei area. While the overall cloud cover today prevented it from being the hottest day of the week, experts suggest that temperatures will rise further tomorrow, potentially reaching extreme highs above 36°C on Friday as southwestern winds intensify. Rain and thunderstorms may occur intermittently in regions south of Miaoli today, with temperatures around 32-33°C. Additionally, the high heat is expected to continue with slight decreases in temperature on Thursday.
