Recently, as temperatures soar, reaching 32 to 36 degrees Celsius in general and possibly above 37 degrees in parts of southern Taiwan today (7th), meteorologist Wu Derong warns of increased afternoon convective intensity due to the approaching cold-core low pressure system, leading to potential occurrences of localized heavy thunderstorms. With rain expected across Taiwan for today and tomorrow, precautions against severe weather conditions are advised, especially in mountainous areas and riversides. Be cautious of sudden heavy rain, flash floods, landslides, and rockfalls.
