With the scorching summer days, daytime outings can be challenging, but in Taipei, the Zhi Nan Temple Zhu Bai Trail offers a high-quality nighttime destination. Renovated in 2020, the trail features historical stone lanterns, bamboo and cypress-lined paths, and tranquil lighting, creating a serene ambiance for evening walks. The 1,200-step, 1,021-meter trail is known for its elegant Japanese lanterns, stone pillars, and resting pavilions, surrounded by century-old bamboo and cherry trees. The upgraded lighting system now uses LED lights with low color temperature, enhancing the natural environment and providing a soothing atmosphere for visitors. Along the route, unique pavilions and historical structures like the Long Xiang Pavilion and Fu De Temple add to the charm of this century-old trail, making it a peaceful and picturesque escape in the heart of the city.
