A clinic in Tainan, Six Shun Clinic, with a nearly 100-year history and three branches in Taiwan, is renowned for treating and preventing strokes. However, they have been accused of exploiting people's fears by claiming to prevent strokes through injections, offering an expensive treatment costing 230,000 NTD. Not only are these claims exaggerated, but the injections administered contain unknown substances, even unknown to clinic staff. Concerns have been raised as the clinic failed to provide detailed information about the injections to patients, and the lack of approval markings from the Taiwan FDA. Authorities are urged to investigate to ensure patient safety. Despite the high cost, patients continue to flock to the clinic. The clinic’s director, Wang Xinmin, has promoted their treatments, claiming significant improvements for stroke patients, including citing research from Tzu Chi University confirming their efficacy.
