Extension of Stable Employment Measures! Workers in 5 Industries Eligible for Salary Subsidies During Unpaid Leave

Metal products industry, travel, and other related service industries will no longer be eligible for stable employment measures starting in July, as the situation of unpaid leave has improved. However, workers in industries such as rubber product manufacturing, electronic component manufacturing, computer and electronic product manufacturing, machinery manufacturing, and other transport equipment manufacturing can still apply for stable employment measures after July 1st. These workers can receive up to NT$9,200 in salary subsidies during unpaid leave. The Ministry of Labor has implemented these measures to stabilize employment and has already provided subsidies to a total of 5,222 workers in 252 business units, amounting to NT$25.51 million.
