Wang not only spent lavishly on Taichung Commercial Bank with stacks of cash but also rented a private jet to travel around. Wang used public funds to rent the mansion, which was elegantly decorated and served as an entertainment venue. Notable figures like Chao Xinqing, the son of the founder of Far Eastern Group Chao Tengxiong, frequent the place to smoke cigars or play poker, with bets around 10,000 yuan each time. Wang's actions led to losses of over 60 million yuan for an insurance company. Investigations revealed that senior officials and Taipei Police Department high-ranking officials had visited the secret venue to dine.
