CTWANT Weekly | By Wu Jiawei, June 14, 2024 6:55 PM Due to the influence of the southwestern wind, tomorrow (15th) and Sunday (16th) will remain hot, with a chance of burning wind occurring in Taitung, reaching an extreme high temperature of 38 degrees; Taipei, New Taipei, and Hualien are also expected to reach 36 degrees. Starting from Sunday (16th), the wind direction will shift from southwestern to southern winds, reducing rainfall in central and southern regions with occasional brief showers in mountainous areas in the mornings and afternoons, while afternoon thunderstorms will increase in other areas, especially in Greater Taipei and northeastern parts. Residents are advised to stay hydrated and protect themselves from the sun when going out.
