The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has yet to receive a request from Boeing to raise its 737 MAX production limit and will examine the company's supply chain before making any decisions. The production cap, set after a January 2024 incident involving a missing bolt, remains in place while the FAA acknowledges ongoing improvements at Boeing.
