In response to Taiwan's declining birth rate becoming a national security issue, Premier Su Tseng-chang proposed that household registration units could reconcile data of unmarried youth of marriageable age or married individuals without children to introduce incentive policies. However, this idea faced criticism for privacy violations, leading Premier Su to clarify that the proposal does not overstep the current ongoing work.
