A Family Volunteer Day event organized by the New Taipei City Volunteer Services Promotion Center and the New Taipei City Banqiao New Residents Family and Women's Service Center took place in the Pingxi area with 40 family volunteers participating in environmental cleanup activities, learning about Pingxi's history, culture, and ecological environment. The event aimed to promote volunteerism, community collaboration, and environmental consciousness among participants, emphasizing the importance of contributing to society and fostering a sense of responsibility and compassion. Participants also engaged in hands-on activities, such as crafting unique mining cart piggy banks, to learn about Pingxi's mining history and create lasting memories with their families.
