A family of four went to a hotel buffet in Taoyuan on Friday night, where they complained about the blueberry and Earl Grey tea cheesecakes tasting sour and the other cakes being cold and dry. Despite raising the issue to the staff, the whole plate of cheesecakes was taken back to the kitchen, leading to doubts. Half an hour after returning home, all four individuals started having diarrhea and ended up in the emergency room. The situation prompted a health inspection, with the affected party feeling disappointed about the dining experience and alleging that the food had spoiled.
