The grandmother and mother of Xu Haoming, a Taiwanese student graduating from the US Air Force Academy, were involved in a car accident in Colorado while attending his graduation ceremony. Facing high medical costs they could not bear, a fundraising campaign led by the Taiwan Association of Colorado has exceeded $250,000 on the GoFundMe platform, reaching an interim goal. Xu Haoming's grandmother and mother both require major surgeries and intensive care, with the US military academy community and Taiwanese organizations in Colorado rallying to support. The Ministry of National Defense in Taiwan has also pledged assistance, ensuring the family receives care and helps cover expenses during their time in the US.
