The family would fake injuries by falling on public transport or elevators, and then seek compensation from multiple insurance companies with falsified claims. Investigations revealed their elaborate scheme, leading to their arrest and further inquiries into possible collaborations with traditional Chinese medicine clinics. The family would visit numerous clinics to acquire medical certificates, allegedly in an attempt to support their fraudulent activities.
