The incident took place at Zhongli Funeral Parlor in Taoyuan, where the family of the deceased, who had fallen to death while inspecting a neighbor's leaking roof, allegedly demanded an apology that involved the gesture of 'kneeling'. This request led to dissatisfaction and then escalated into a violent physical clash between the two groups, resulting in three injuries. The police intervened and detained six individuals.
