Pingtung County's Guoshi Village on National Highway 10 experienced a serious accident at the Guoshi Interchange where a sand truck was hit by another truck, resulting in 3 individuals trapped. Two individuals sustained fractures in their hands and legs and were conscious when taken to the hospital, while another male driver was in critical condition upon arrival, unfortunately, succumbing to his injuries. The exact cause of the accident is still under investigation.
