A fatal car accident occurred on Highway 65 in New Taipei City, Taiwan, where a driver crashed into a pillar after exiting an overpass. The impact caused severe deformation to the car, and despite the efforts to rescue the 52-year-old male driver, he was pronounced dead due to excessive bleeding and critical injuries to his head and legs. The driver had been involved in a collision with another car prior to the incident, had fled the scene, drove in the opposite direction on an off-ramp, and ultimately crashed into the pillar. Medical personnel were unable to conduct a blood alcohol test due to the driver's condition, and further investigations are ongoing to determine the exact cause of the accident.
