A serious collision occurred on the evening of June 13th at around 8 p.m. on the northbound 345 km section of National Freeway No. 1 in Gangshan, resulting in one fatality. At the scene, four vehicles were involved in a severe rear-end collision, with one white sedan having its front severely dented, causing the driver to tragically perish inside the vehicle. Firefighters were called to assist in rescuing those trapped and transporting the remaining injured victims to the hospital. Highway police's preliminary investigation revealed it was an accident involving one large vehicle and three small vehicles, with one small car's front severely dented leading to the driver's death, and the other two small cars damaged due to crushed and fallen objects.
