On the evening of June 25th, 2024, in Taichung's North District, a 70-year-old woman was struck by a sedan while crossing the road and got trapped underneath. Despite being rescued by emergency personnel and rushed to the hospital, the woman showed no signs of life and was pronounced dead. The incident is still under investigation to determine the exact cause of the accident.
