A fatal car accident occurred in Taichung's Tanzih District as a grandfather, 73, was driving his granddaughter to school and collided with a bus while a tractor-trailer hit him from behind, causing the grandfather's death and leaving the granddaughter with minor injuries. The police are investigating the incident, and both bus and tractor-trailer drivers will face charges of negligent homicide. Drivers were tested negative for alcohol, and surveillance footage will be reviewed to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
