A fire broke out in a residence in Tucheng District, New Taipei City, claiming the lives of 3 individuals who were unable to escape in time. The fire, suspected to have been caused by a lithium battery explosion, engulfed the house quickly due to interconnected floors and a fire originating at the doorstep. The victims, a mother, son, and daughter's boyfriend, tragically succumbed to the smoke and flames. The exact cause of the fire is still under investigation.
