On July 6, 2024, at 9:29 AM, a scaffold collapse at Fookoo Technology resulted in 2 deaths and 3 injuries in Yunlin County, Douliu City, Taiwan. In response, Fookoo Technology released a statement in the evening expressing deep sorrow for the casualties and stated that they would fully assist in follow-up matters. The construction site has been halted for cleaning and restoration. The incident occurred due to sudden strong winds during a thunderstorm, causing the scaffold of the new building to collapse. The company's fifth factory construction was 77% complete, with normal operations in the other four factories. Five employees were affected, with 2 fatalities and 3 injuries. Fookoo Technology assured that the incident would not have a significant impact on their production, finance, and business operations.
