Former lead singer of F.I.R., Faye Chan Wenting, who accused her mentor Chen Jianning of forging documents, was instead charged with false accusation by the prosecutor. After trial at the Northern District Court, the judge ruled Faye not guilty, stating that the large quantity of documents handled by Faye may have led to confusion about the signing process. Chen Jianning respects the legal outcome but believes Faye owes him and the music company an apology. Faye thanked the justice system for clearing her name and hopes to put the ordeal behind and return to music.
