Retail sales data for February showed a smaller-than-expected increase, rising by just 0.2% month-over-month, compared to the 0.6% economists anticipated. This drop was largely attributed to motor vehicle sales; however, Bank of America Securities' senior economist, Stephen Juneau, indicated that overall, sales have bounced back from January's low and are comparable to December levels. With continued job and income growth, the U.S. consumer remains resilient despite concerns about the economy.
