Federal officials are investigating a Southwest Airlines incident where a jet triggered a low-altitude alert while preparing to land in Oklahoma City, although it was still nine miles away from the airport. The plane descended to 525 feet above the ground over Oklahoma City suburbs, prompting an air traffic controller to intervene. The Dallas-based airline stated that the Boeing 737 landed safely, and they are working with the FAA to address any issues with the aircraft's approach to the airport.
