A female detective assistant surnamed Pan from the Zhubei Police Branch in Hsinchu County was wrongly accused of moonlighting at a skincare shop in Hsinchu City but was cleared of the allegations after a month-long investigation revealed no concrete evidence. However, Pan had someone sign for her attendance, leading to suspicions of document forgery, which resulted in her being referred to the Hsinchu District Prosecutor's Office for investigation. While Pan was cleared of moonlighting, she and the person who signed for her attendance will still be investigated for alleged document forgery.
