This timer displays the duration spent inside the restroom, leading to feelings of pressure among visitors as their privacy is compromised. The scenic area staff clarified that the timer was installed by a contractor not to control restroom usage but to ensure guest safety, with the additional benefit of relieving long queues in the female restrooms.
