A female student in Xiamen was accused of theft by school cafeteria staff for taking 6 pairs of chopsticks while buying two boxed meals on June 20th. Despite a private apology from the cafeteria manager, the student prepared over 10,000 pairs of chopsticks to distribute to classmates for free. The incident led to changes in the cafeteria rules, with only one pair of chopsticks provided per meal and no self-service allowed, as the student continued to distribute chopsticks outside the cafeteria in response to the accusation.
