Among the 10 companies that have disclosed their earnings, they collectively earned 157.332 billion NT dollars in the first half of the year. If calculations include the profits of Cathay Financial Holding, Fubon Financial Holding, First Financial Holding, and Hua Nan Financial Holding, the earnings for the first five months are close to 300 billion NT dollars, not far from the record high profit of 341.57 billion NT dollars in the first half of 2021. With the possibility of Cathay Financial Holding and Fubon Financial Holding performing well in June, there is a chance to achieve the strongest first half earnings performance. Multiple institutions have shown growth compared to the previous year, with Chinatrust Financial Holding achieving the highest growth rate of 29.13%. Various subsidiaries have contributed to the strong earnings, with Shin Kong Financial Group even reversing last year's losses to achieve record-high profits in both monthly and first-half accumulations.
