A fire broke out at the well-known chain hot pot restaurant 'Chiba Hot Pot' located on Guohua Road in Miaoli City, causing the almost complete destruction of the 400-ping branch. Despite efforts from firefighters for over four hours, the building turned into ruins with an estimated loss of approximately ten million NTD. The cause of the fire is yet to be determined by the fire investigation team.
