A fire broke out at the over century-old Wang Wan Noodle Shop in Lukang, Changhua in the evening of June 14, causing the entire shop to burn down. Fortunately, there were no casualties as the fire department arrived to extinguish the flames. The owner estimates the shop may need to close for a week due to the fire. The shop, founded in the 19th year of the Republic of China, is a popular destination for locals and tourists for its unique noodle dish, but now faces a temporary closure and significant financial loss.
