A fire broke out at the Hai Ba Wang factory located in Cianjhen Fishing Port in Kaohsiung, with a warehouse on the 4th floor containing stacked miscellaneous paper boxes suddenly catching fire; fortunately, employees managed to evacuate in time and the fire was extinguished after about 3 hours. The incident occurred at 4:38 pm with 34 fire trucks and 94 personnel dispatched. Strong chemical smells were reported at the scene, prompting investigations on possible violations regarding flammable material storage. In other news, Chinese Coast Guard dispatches 3 vessels to aid 'Da Jin Man' fishing boat, a Japanese oil company facing allegations of oil leakage leading to a factory fire, and mysterious prophetic messages circulating online.
