A fire broke out at a snack shop on Gongzheng Street in Hualien City, causing extensive damage to the wooden structure with metal cladding due to the wind. The fire spread to adjacent shops, resulting in 3 injuries. Despite efforts to control the blaze, it continued burning until the afternoon. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
