On June 14, 2024, at 1:05 a.m., a fire broke out at the Water Nuan Market, causing about 8 stalls to be burned. Though the stalls were not in operation, the fire was intense with explosions reported, startling nearby residents. Firefighters quickly responded, with some vendors having gas tanks leading to residents evacuating. Fortunately, no casualties were reported, and an investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the fire.
