In Tainan’s Jiangjun District, a fishing boat caught fire with 1200 liters of diesel onboard. The Coast Guard personnel immediately reported the incident upon discovery, leading to the dispatch of 11 vehicles and 22 firefighters for rescue efforts. Fortunately, the fire was contained in time without further spread or injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation, with the fishing boat owner reporting the presence of diesel onboard. Firefighters used chemical foam to extinguish the fire on the 19-year-old boat, with no reported casualties or property damage. Further investigation will be carried out by the Coast Guard and police.
