In the Pingtung County's Fengliao Township Pingnan Industrial Zone, a factory's outdoor pulp raw material storage area caught fire yesterday morning around 10 a.m., with a burning area of 3,500 square meters. 22 fire trucks from the Pingtung County Fire Department were dispatched to save the situation, and the remaining fire was finally put out early this morning, with no casualties reported. The cause of the fire will determine if any penalties under the air pollution law will be applied.
