On the evening of June 25, 2024, a fire broke out at the well-known scenic restaurant 'Princess Anne Garden' in the New Village of Taichung City. The fire was extinguished around 6:50 pm, with fortunately no injuries reported. The cause of the fire, suspected to have started near the restroom, led to partial damage of outdoor furniture, leading the restaurant to temporarily close for repairs. The investigation is ongoing to determine the exact cause of the fire.
