Reported about 1 year ago
On June 9, 2024, in Keelung, Taiwan, a fire truck from the Zhongshan Fire Brigade was witnessed slipping across the road with firefighters outside trying to stop it, but the 18-ton truck continued forward until hitting a cement utility pole. It was discovered that the truck slid out due to improper braking while being serviced, narrowly avoiding hitting anyone. Damage was done to the truck and utility poles, but thankfully, no injuries were reported among the firefighters involved.
