On June 18, 2024, at 7:40 am, the Criminal Investigation Bureau cracked down on the Hong Kong gang 'Harmony' for smuggling European K methamphetamine drugs by air to Taiwan disguised as 'body scrub and bath salt bags' in international parcels. The investigation team discovered that the gang members used parcels from Germany, with packages labeled as 'bath salt bags and body scrub,' containing 12 bags of bath salt and 10 cans of body scrub, concealing 8.61 kilograms of K methamphetamine worth millions inside. Two suspects from Hong Kong and Taiwan were arrested and detained for violating the Narcotics Hazard Prevention Act. The bureau emphasized the serious impact of drugs on society and urged the public not to engage in drug-related activities.
