First Securities has been recognized with the special honor of the Securities Group in the 2023 Information Sharing Awards in the Financial Information Sharing and Analysis Center (F-ISAC), for actively participating in the Financial Supervisory Commission’s financial cybersecurity information sharing and joint defense mechanism. As cybersecurity incidents in the financial industry have been on the rise, the FSC has been urging financial institutions to enhance their cybersecurity levels, leading to the establishment of F-ISAC to provide early warnings and joint defense mechanisms, ultimately strengthening the overall cybersecurity governance capabilities of the financial industry to maintain market stability. First Securities continually improves its cybersecurity measures, actively collaborates with F-ISAC to share cybersecurity information for analysis, and enhances firewall levels to detect and repel malicious attacks. They also conduct regular cybersecurity checkups according to the Taiwan Stock Exchange regulations, deploy a Chief Information Security Officer, and expand their security team beyond regulatory requirements.
