Directed by Li Gang for the first time, the stage play 'Box of Time: My Father and Cassang,' adapted from a novel by Aoi Myodo, featured six main actors including Gao Qi, Chen Fang Wenlin, Hideyama Yanky, Okubo Mariko, and Chen Jiaxun. Gao Qi, in his first stage play in his 34-year career, expressed surprise at being cast, jokingly referring to his character's husband as 'butt' in Taiwanese dialect during rehearsals with Chen Fang Wenlin, who had previously played the same role. The play is set to tour Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.
